In the small village of Kambola, Sierra Leone, an old woman named Tania, cursed and feared by the villagers, lives alone on the hills. Tania is a powerful witch with otherworldly abilities, and the gifts she gives them—a golden box for Aya and a silver box for Jacob—carry hidden monsters that wreak havoc on those connected to their enemies.

As the boxes are passed to loved ones, betrayal, death, and chaos consume the village. Aya and Jacob must confront the consequences of their grandmother’s revenge, witnessing the loss of family and the destruction around them. Their journey takes them beyond Kambola, into ancient forests, alien-influenced powers, and the very heart of the underworld, where they face trials of fear, guilt, and responsibility.

Guided by their courage and understanding, the siblings survive the trials, mastering the power once wielded by Tania. They return to Kambola as heirs of the underworld, not to conquer or destroy, but to protect, teach, and safeguard their village.
