A broke man fights battles rich men will never understand.
Poverty is not noble. It is a burden. There is nothing noble about constantly worrying. Nothing spiritual about helplessness. Nothing honorable about watching your dreams die because you lack resources.
Poverty will test your confidence. Humiliate your dignity. Disgrace your manhood. Silence your vision. Turn survival into a full-time occupation. You will settle for less and be happy you could.
That is why you must stop romanticizing struggle. You will die quick. The world will lie to you and say money is not important. Ignore them. You need money to survive let alone thrive. Love money.
Most people who say money does not matter have never truly suffered without it. Money may not buy purpose. Money may not buy loyalty. Money may not buy peace of soul. But money will give you rest.
Poverty will magnify stress, frustration, limitation and pain.
So my man, get money. Not for vanity. Not to oppress others. Not to worship it. Get it for freedom. For options. For your family. For your future children. For your vision. For your dignity. For the ability to move when life calls you to a higher position, because a man with vision but no resources is a prisoner with ideas.
Understand this deeply, money does not change a man. It reveals him. If he is disciplined, money expands it. If he is wise, money multiplies it. If he is foolish, money exposes it. That is why you must build faith, spirituality and character alongside wealth.
Also, remove this lie from your head immediately: poverty is not holiness. It is segregation. Being broke does not make a man humble, righteous or pure. I have seen wealthy men with honor, discipline and integrity. I have also seen poor men full of pride, bitterness, envy and excuses.
Money is not the enemy. Lack of sense and self-control is. Even your visions of God on earth require resources to move. Buildings dreams cost money. Travel costs money. Feeding the hungry costs money. Helping your family costs money. Impact in the Kingdom or society costs money.
A man cannot fully answer his calling while drowning in survival. So work. Learn. Build. Invest. Increase your value. Master a skill. Think long term. Become useful. You are getting too old to replicate the model of your father. In all your getting: get wisdom. Get common sense. Get discipline. Get character. And of course, yes… get money.
Life begins to change when survival is no longer your daily burden. Life begins at the other end of poverty.
